As mentioned to you a few weeks ago, on the 6th of March, we are organizing a joint symposium with the Dutch Society for Radiation Oncology (NVRO). I’m coming back to you now with more information about the meeting. The theme of this meeting will be metabolism and radiotherapy. We have invited various renowned (pre)clinical speakers to talk about their work and the subjects range from circulating DNA, to immunology and from imaging to autophagy. Keynote speaker is Ester Hammond from Oxford, UK. Venue is Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre (De Nieuwe Poort 20, 3812 PA Amersfoort) and registration is not required.
Furthermore, there will be room for talks from selected abstracts in different disciplines related to radiotherapy: clinical, biology and physics. These talks will not be restricted to the theme of the day. The best presentation by a junior researcher will be awarded with a travel scholarship of €500. Abstracts deadline is 17th of February and the abstracts (no specific format) can be submitted to: secretariaat@nvro.nl.
More information and the tentative program can be found at: nvro.nl/vereniging/agenda/item/394-6-maart-2020-nvro-wetenschappelijke-vergadering-en-alv.html.
